All we need is love, according to Alex Lyngaas. He is on a mission to find his mother, Eva, the man she deserves. Through this YouTube video, “Looking for Adam”, he hopes to do just that. Eva was born in the Czech Republic in 1946 and currently lives in Norway with her son, Alex. For the last few years, Eva has been trying to find love. She has even gone on a few dates. But none have worked out. Alex knows his mom is a good woman and deserves a good man. That’s where the video comes in.
The love of Eva’s life will have similar interests. In the video, Alex goes through lists of things and activities that she enjoys. They vary from art, relaxing in the sun, nature, and cross country skiing, to name a few. The catch is, Eva doesn’t know that Alex is making this video for her. At the end, when Alex tells her he wants to put the video on the internet, an overwhelmed Eva laughs but agrees.
Alex then makes a request to everyone watching. He asks that if you think you would be a good match for his mother, to send a picture, letter, or even a video. He knows that the man of her dreams is out there. The bond that this mother and son share is inspiring and heartwarming. Alex goes to great lengths to help his mother find love and happiness.
